City Stages

City Stages has come and gone for another year. From my viewpoint, the festival was a huge success this year. The contract between the festival promoters and AC Entertainment seems to have been a very good one. The line-up was a huge improvement and was supported by crowds of people, plus great weather all weekend.

For a little bit mo... a little bit mo of verbiage on the weekend events, check out the writings of Wade Kwon, writer and journalist extraordinaire.

Wayne Coyne and company were my personal favorites. The Flaming Lips put on a production rarely seen away from Broadway. And speaking of random streets in the Big Apple, Wayne Coyne recently revealed in an interview with EW.com that Yoshimi Versus The Robots is being turned into a Broadway production. "I'd like two tickets please!"
