Wall-E Book + Posters

There's been so much buzz on the net about the Disney Pixar movie Wall-E about lately. It gives weight to the fact that many designers and fans alike have a keen fascination with robots.
These posters are great throwbacks to the designers of the 60s and 70s. I can't get enough of the retro feel. I haven't been able to find out who actually designed these for Pixar, but they did a great job.
If you'd like to see more about the print material for the movie, jump on over to Grain Edit, where there's more info on the Wall-E book and how it was designed.

Gone In Sixty Seconds

Phil Patton has written a great article for AIGA about the legacy of Polaroid, who as most know by now, announced in February that they were shutting their U.S. plants - effectively killing the instant foto.

This is my choice for "Rocker of the Weekend" and probably my best photo from City Stages. I really need Santa to bring me a nicer lens for my Canon EOS 10D this xmas.
This QT is definitely a music fan in the making.
