Big Spring Jam is quickly approaching and with summer now in full swing, the names of bands such as the Black Crowes and the Fray are now being announced for the festival lineup.
I'm glad to finally be able to say that I'm in the mix with several other designers for some of the Jam's promotional gear. Having been a resident of Huntsville for many years, most of my work has been for places outside of my hometown. It is refreshing to finally be able to concentrate a bit of the creative juices for HuntsVegas.

Super Poop

Lots of posts about poo lately.. Great packaging design from Nate Williams (my distant cousin, I'm certain). Check out his website for more gr8 work.
Olive’s biodegradable poop bags. The bags are made naturally from GMO-free corn starch and vegetable oil, are certified 100% biodegradable and compost in as little as 40 days. They come in two sizes - Unisex (small) and Super Poop (large) - and are available online at www.olivegreendog.com.

Camilla Engman

Ran across Camilla Engman's blog and paintings today while I was doing some image searching. I find the most interesting things when I'm not even looking for them.
I heart her work, her home country of Sweden and the title of the painting shown (above).

CRAP

"You eventually become the things you own."
And with that thought, here's a link for Aesthetic Apparatus and a for an upcoming, one-time auction of some of their lovely goodies, put on by the fellows themselves.
Smart marketing guys. You're the shizzle.

Shoulder Bite
Heath McClain and I got together this afternoon for a brainstorming session. This is what we cranked out in just a few short hours. Not bad for two white boyz.
